Six types of Australian halfpennies were minted.

First type Australian halfpenny 1911 - 1936

Specifications: Size 25.5mm. Weight 5.67grams. Plain edge.
Metal composition: 97% copper, 2.5% zinc and 0.5% tin.
Obverse: portrait of King George V by Sir Edgar Mackennal.
Reverse: ONE HALF PENNY within a circle sculpted by W H J Blakemore.

1923	The rarest of all the halfpennies. Outstanding example, no significant flaws at all, very hard to find this good. Six clear pearls and centre diamond clearly visible although a little indistinct. This is the nicest specimen we have ever offered for sale.
